In a few hours I’m heading off to Mumbai to visit my best friend Manjari Sharma who has been in India the past month catching up with her family.  (that is, if the plane actually takes off in this weather!).  I figure now would be an appropriate moment to introduce you to her incredible work.

Although she has not shot me in the shower just quite yet, I have been the subject of her photographs in the past.  She shot this one last year while on Martha’s Vineyard with me.

Manj is a huge part of my New York life and I have most certainly felt her absence while she’s been away. So excited to catch up with her in her homeland tomorrow.
