Gabriela Herman is a Brooklyn-based editorial and commercial photographer who specializes in travel, food, lifestyle and portrait work around the globe, bringing a fresh and vibrant energy to every shoot. Her personal projects have received attention in outlets such as The New York Times, The Guardian, Wired and The Atlantic and been exhibited worldwide.
Her first book, “The Kids,” was published by New Press. She has been recognized in American Photography, Critical Mass, and by the Magenta Foundation. She is a dual citizen of the United States and Brazil and fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and French. She lives with her husband and two children in Bedstuy.
