Gabriela Herman is a Brooklyn-based editorial and commercial photographer specializing in travel, food, lifestyle, and portraiture. Her work brings a fresh, vibrant energy to shoots around the globe. Gabriela’s personal projects have been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, Wired, and The Atlantic, and exhibited internationally.
Her first book, The Kids, was published by The New Press. Gabriela’s work has been recognized by American Photography, Critical Mass, and the Magenta Foundation. A dual citizen of the United States and Brazil, she is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and French. She lives in Bed-Stuy with her husband and two children.
